We have welcomed two new appointments to our team as part of on-going investment in the company as it continues to grow. The two new starters joined the brewery in 2016, bringing with them a wealth of experience and passion for the beer industry.
Skye Ashmore has taken on the role of Office Manager where she is responsible for all operational activity as well as supporting with business development. Skye brings to the role a degree in Food Science and Catering Management, as well as an invaluable background in manufacturing. Alongside Skye, Amelia Jarman has been appointed Assistant Brewer, where she is working with the Head Brewer, Wim van der Spek, in all aspects of the production process. Her extensive experience includes a BSc in Chemistry and a career in hospitality where she was a cellar manager for over ten years.
The two female new starters join the team, spearheaded by co-owner Sue Cooper, which is pleased to promote the role of women in the brewing industry.

Little Valley welcomes talented and passionate people and Skye and Amelia were the best fit for the job. Throughout history women have played an important part in brewing and we are proud to be advocating their role in the modern beer industry. We are looking forward to the next steps on our journey with Skye and Amelia on board – 2017 should be an exciting year for Little Valley.”
