Special brown ale.
Delicate minty and grassy aroma with a full body and a dry bitter finish.
Stronger beer specially brewed for the Munich Oktoberfest.

Mellow Yellow - January
3.6% ABV
Light yellow ale.
Delicate berry fruit aroma with light malty body and soft smooth finish.
A light bitter to start the new year carefully.
Red Dyke - February
3.9% ABV
Red bitter.
Fruity, citrussy aroma and a lean and malty body. The beer has a well balanced, though quite a harsh bitter finish.
Red Dyke Farm is situated just above Withens Reservoir. The farm supposed to be haunted (rumors are that there has been some killing going on the Farm. In the harsh winter of 1947 the last inhabitants left and nobody has returned since.
Pontus Hebdanus - March
4.0% ABV
A German style ale made the “old way” with the use of barley malt and wheat malt.
Dark amber colour with a bitter, hearty and slightly rusty taste.
Midgley Mild - April
3.8% ABV
Dark brown mild
Sweet delicate spicy aroma and a malty and caramel taste. The finish is quite bitter. This is a traditional English style of beer.
Queen Bee - May
4.5% ABV
Yellow brown honey beer.
Sweet honey like aroma with notes of spices and oranges. The body is light malty and the finish has a pleasant hoppy character.
Sixpence - June
3.7% ABV
Deep yellow bitter.
Floral and berry fruit aroma with pleasant light body and light caramel taste. The finish is smooth bitter and dry.
Two Lads - July
3.5% ABV
Brown bitter.
Delicate minty grassy with a slight floral aroma. The beer has a lean body and a pleasant hoppy character. The finish is long and smooth dry.
The Two Lads are two cairns piled upon natural rocks on Withens Moor close to Stoodley Pike. Two Lads were walking over the moors in mid winter and caught in a blizzard. Losing all sense of visibility they tried to shelter behind these rocks, but perished. Sometime later their bodies were found and the curious ‘cairns’ of rocks were mounted onto the boulders to mark where they had died.
Dutch Courage - August
4.3% ABV
Yellow bitter.
Light floral aroma with pleasant hoppy character and malty taste. The beer has an excellent bitter finish.
This is a bitter which should suit the English market, providing you have some Dutch courage.
Oktoberfest - September
4.6% ABV

Delicate minty and grassy aroma with a full body and a dry bitter finish.

Yorkshire Hemp - October
4.0% ABV
Blonde / pale yellow beer.
Floral and light vanilla flavor with a pleasant dry bitter finish.
Hemp is from the same family as hop and gives a pleasant aroma to beer.
Gustibus - November
5.2% ABV
Black / brown dark wheat beer
Dark brown hazy wheat beer with aromas of fruit and roasted barley with a pleasant smooth finish.
German style of wheat beer stronger and more aromatic than the normal wheat beers.
Python - December
6.0% ABV
Light brown IPA
Powerful floral, minty and grassy aroma with a straw like colour and long bitter finish.
Original IPA (stronger and very hoppy). This beer will easily survive a long journey to India.
Double Dutch
6.0% ABV
Dark brown Bock.
Strong roasted flavor with metallic hints. The beer has a sweet and quite heavy mouth feel and a long bitter finish.
Bock beer was traditionally the first brew in the new brewing season. It was stronger and had a dark color (to remove rust out the copper).
